When: Friday, November 27th 

Where: Boone Processing Center

Time: 9-2pm* 

            * We will leave the church at 7 am, and volunteer with OCC from 9-2 pm. Please eat breakfast before we leave and pack a lunch to enjoy.

What: Every volunteer in the processing center plays an important role in ensuring the integrity and successful delivery of the shoebox gifts. Volunteers form teams responsible for inspecting gifts, working with filler items, scanning labels, organizing shoe boxes by age and gender into designated cartons, and heavy lifting. Due to the fast-paced environment of the warehouse and changing needs, you may be asked to do different tasks during your shift. Come join us in having a direct part in blessing children overseas with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Need to know before:

             - Transportation is provided to-and -from Boone (we will be taking the church vans). 

             - We will have a 30 minute break in between our volunteer hours, please pack a lunch. 

             - Sign-ups are on a first-come first-serve basis, with limited spots available! 

             - Must be at least 13+ years old to volunteer at the OCC processing center.

             - Pack a lunch or bring money for onsite vending/food.
